Professional Development Workshops

Workshops range in topic but primarily focus on providing tools to encourage career minded thinking. Topics range from "Diversity in Science Professions" to "Responsible Conduct of Research" to "Preparing and Developing Professional Scientific Platform Talks." Recreational Activities


Recreational Activities

Typically SPUR students are very active during their time at University of Oregon. Recreational activities typically include biking, hiking, laser tag, skydiving, floating the river, and camping. Often students take trips to Portland, Seattle, and the California Redwoods. Please visit our gallery to see photos from some of the recreational activities from previous programs.
